Java development in Unix environment

5-7 years of testing experience including 2-4 years of hands on experience in Selenium,

• Should be familiar with knowledge in collections, db connectivity, xml parsing, api/services knowledge etc. but not limited to.

• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Lifecycle and testing methodologies

• Strong knowledge in databases (particularly SQL and ORACLE). Ability to understand schemas and write complex SQL queries using joins.

• Solid experience with any of the scripting languages like – Shell Script, Python etc.

• Functional knowledge of Windows/Unix scripting, Java programming to develop scripts/programs to help creation of data sets, automated test-suites, validation of data in the database, etc.

• Has experience in Selenium, Java. Creates estimates and builds awareness of costs related to own work.
