Position : QA Selenium Tester
Location : Richardson, TX (Need Locals)
Duration : 6+months
Job Summary:
Under general direction, debugs complex software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Design, code and execute automated test scripts.
· Prepare reports and documentation updates.
· Technical consulting on automation issues, tools and processes. May take part in researching best practices, new tools and technology.
· Interacts with senior internal and external personnel.
· Develops and executes software test plans.
· Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.
· Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
· Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
· Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Skills and Experience:
· 1 to 3 years of experience in automated function testing using tool such as Selenium or equivalent.
· At least 3 year of experience working in projects using Agile methodology, iteration and user stories.
· Java Language experience. JUnit is a nice to have plus
