Project Scientist “C”: 11 Posts
Qualifications: Masters degree or equivalent in Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Science/ Physics/ Mathematics /Geophysics (with specialization in Meteorology) from a recognised university with at least first class (60%) at Post Graduation level. And Three years experience in the field of Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology/ Oceanography. Familiarity with UNIX, FORTRAN.
Project Scientist “C”: 10 Posts
Qualifications: i). Masters degree or equivalent in Meteorology/ Atmospheric Science/ Hydrology/ Physics/ Geophysics (with specialization in Meteorology)/ Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Statistics/ Remote Sensing/ B.Tech. or equivalent from a recognized university with at least first class (60%) at Post Graduation level. And Three years experience in the field of Atmospheric Science/ Atmospheric.
Project Technical Officer/ Project Scientist-C: 01 Post
Qualifications: i). MCA /B.Tech.(CS)/ M.Tech. (CS)/ M.Sc. degree in Computer Science/ Physics/ Mathematics from a recognised university/ institution. ii). 3 years of experience in scientific computing environment or related field. Experience in UNIX, FORTRAN, Shell Scripting, and scripting languages like Perl, Python, Mathematical, Java etc.
Project Technical Officer/ Project Scientist-C: 01 Post
Qualifications: i). MCA/ B.Tech.(CS)/ M.Tech. (CS)/ M.Sc. degree in Computer Science/ Physics/ Mathematics from a recognised university/ institution. ii). 3 years of experience in managing or operating large computing environment in scientific or commercial institution.
Project Scientist-D: 02 Posts
Qualifications: i). MCA/ B.Tech. (CS)/ M.Tech. (CS)/ M.Sc. degree in Computer Science/ Physics/ Mathematics from a recognised university/ institution. ii). 7 years of experience in scientific computing environment (as evidenced by published papers). Familiarity with UNIX and FORTRAN, C, C++, OOP, Python, shell scripting etc.

Age Limit: 35 years

For 01 to 03 Post: Candidates can attend walk-in-interview at “NCMRWF, Ministry of Earth sciences, A-50, Sector-62, Noida – 201309″. Along with duly fill in application in the prescribed format, all relevant documents and attested photo copies of all relevant documents etc.
For 4 & 5 post: The completed application in the prescribed format along with all relevant documents must reach the “NCMRWF, Ministry of Earth sciences, A-50, Sector-62, Noida – 201309″.
