Director Human Resources is responsible for developing, implementing and managing Human Resources strategies, policies, processes, procedures and initiatives across the business to ensure the most effective utilisation of Human Resources for the purposes of achieving strategic business objectives.
Position Responsibilities
Identifying Human Resources requirements across the organisation on a strategic level and creating, managing and enhancing new and existing Human Resources initiatives to be consistent with budgeting restrictions, future staffing requirements, industry needs and succession plans
Providing strategic advice and support in Human Resources processes to the Senior Executive team.
Acting as the last point of escalation for resolving Human Resources issues within the organisation by providing expert knowledge.
Leading and developing the Human Resources team to deliver optimum Human Resources services and monitoring the effectiveness of Human Resources services.
Managing the Human Resources budget, ensuring the overall profitability of the Human Resources function.
Developing progressive and proactive compensation and benefits programs to provide motivation, incentives and rewards for effective performance
Developing human resource planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific programs for the filling of the gaps. Areas of activity will include talent management through proper succession planning programs, talent reviews, for key contributor and management positions, training and development programs for preparing employees for more significant responsibilities and general business development programs to enhance employee knowledge and understanding of the business
Continually assessing the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries and markets.
Enhancing and/or developing, implementing and enforcing human resources policies and procedures of the organization by way of HRIS systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation. Manage the human resource information systems database and necessary reports for critical analyses of the HR function and the people resources.
Managing Statutory Compliances (e.g. Provident Fund, ESIC, Contract Labour Licenses, S&E Licenses, IATA Licenses, Labour Department and LWF returns, TDS returns, Payment of Gratuity, Payment of Bonuses, etc.) and maintaining the relevant records and registers across CWT Branch Network in India.
Managing matters pertaining to Office Administration, Facilities, Cafeteria and Employee Transport.
Position Requirements
Strong management, leadership, team building, consulting and negotiation skills
Comprehensive knowledge of a diverse range of Human Resources specialties including Recruitment, Learning & Development, Remuneration, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Relations and Human Resources Administration.
Experience in advising and interacting at an executive level, coupled with strong relationship management, communication and influencing skills.
A strategic planner with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus
A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.
An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
A good educator who is trustworthy and willing to share information and serve as a mentor.
An excellent facilitator who is experienced in resolving conflicts between different parties to a dispute.
A decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation and detail oriented perspective.
An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
