Masters/PhD is a plus />Strong understanding of CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms and programming languages) />Rich hands-on programming experience in Java / C++ or another class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Object-oriented_programming" rel="wikipedia" title="Object-oriented programming">object oriented language />Fluency in day-to-day development on Linux platform. Familiarity with Java class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integrated_development_environment" rel="wikipedia" title="Integrated development environment">IDEs like Netbeans or Eclipse a plus. />Firsthand experience with messaging and asynchronous architectures. />Firsthand experience developing distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications in a 24/7 environment. />Understanding of performance/space tradeoffs and browser compatibility issues. />Understanding of class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Object-oriented_analysis_and_design" rel="wikipedia" title="Object-oriented analysis and design">Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD) and Design Patterns. />Strong leadership skills, sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. />Computer science fundamentals knowledge />Ability to learn a lot quickly />Good problem solver and team player />Company Description
