1. Sub-Officer: 07 Posts
i. Male: 05 Posts
ii. Female: 02 Posts
2. Fireman: 101 Posts
3. Emergency Rescuer of SDRF Bn: 13 Posts
4. Driver: 42 Posts
5. Driver Operator (in the rank of Constable) of SDRF Bn: 12 Posts
Age Limit: candidates age should be between 20-24 years for post 1, 18-25 years for post 2, 3, 4, 5 as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST (P)/ ST (H) candidates as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Higher Secondary (Science) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from Govt. recognized Board/ Institution for post 1, 2, 3, Class-VIII passed from a recognized Board/ Institution with valid driving license for HMV (Heavy Motor Vehicles) from any recognized authority for post 4, 5.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) interview cum viva-voce test for post 1, 2, 3, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Skill test (Driving Test) interview cum viva-voce test for post 4, 5.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.asfso.org/ www.fesassam.org OR may send the applications in Standard Form along with 4 copies of recent passport size photographs, one of which should be pasted on the application form, Photostat copies duly attested by any Gazetted Officer of High School Leaving Certificate Admit Card, Pass Certificate, Marks Sheets, Higher Secondary (Science) examination Mark sheet, Caste certificate, Certificates and Bio-data to the Office of the Addl. Director General of Police Cum-Director of Fire & Emergency Services, Assam, Panbazar, Guwahati – 1 on or before 16-12-2014.

3. Select the appropriate post.
4. Click on “Click here to Submit online Application form for the above mentioned post”.
5. Scan the copy of passport size photograph.
6. Fill all the details carefully and Submit the form.

Last Date for Submission of Application: 16-12-2014.
Date of PET & Skill Test for Post 1, 2, 3: 22-01-2015 to 27-02-2015.
Date of Written Test for Post 1, 2 , 3: 26-02-2015, 27-02-2015.
Date of PST/ PET test for Post 4, 5: 04-03-2014.
Date of Driving & Skill test for Post 4, 5: 06-03-2015.
Declaration of Final Result: 3rd week of March/ 2015.
