Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 has collected approx 7.25-750 cr on its opening day at the box office. the film performed well at the box office despite a strong competition from last week's blockbuster Yeh Jawaani Hain Deewani.
The film perfomed best in Delhi/UP and East Punjab circuits where as other curcits were on the lower side. The film has not performed to its potential on its opening day because of limited screens. The film has lost out on a lot of screens due to stupendous business of YJHD. The film could have touched 10 cr if it had got proper release and didn't had YJHD for competition.
The collections of the film should rise on Saturday and Sunday, it is looking at a 25 cr opening weekend which will be higher than the weekend on Yamla Pagla Deewana.
