The engineers will be engaged on HANA Core development. The objective is to build a strong
core HANA database development team in Pune that can undertake development tasks related
to the HANA product. There would be two engineers at T2 (Developer) level and one engineer
at T3 (Senior Developer) level.
Expectations and Tasks
1. Design new subsystems for HANA
2. Fix defects with existing subsystems in HANA.
3. Implement / Code development projects that adhere to the design.
4. Conduct functional, performance and stress testing of the subsystems developed.
Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies
Proficiency in systems programming using C/ C++. Java experience desirable
Unix / Linux platform experience is a must. Windows experience desirable
Exposure to multi-user, multi-threading, kernel level programming. SQL programming desirable
Knowledge of DBMS internals such as query processing, access methods internals,
transaction management, process scheduling and networking desirable
Experience in RDBMS Development and Performance Engineering desirable
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
Location : Across India
Experience : 0 – 5 Years
Education : UG – B.Tech/B.E. – Computers
PG – M.Tech – Computers
DOCTORATE – Doctorate Not Required
JOB DESCRIPTION / DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
Work / Experience
B.E / B.Tech (CS) with 2 to 8 years experience
M.Tech (CS/IT) with 0 to 6 years experience
M.Tech students that will graduate from IIT, IIIT Hyderabad, BITS Pilani in June, 2013
would be preferred for the 2 developer positions.
Job Location is based out of Pune
