The recently released Ranbir – Deepika starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which has been making waves at the box office, has now hit a snag. The reason is that the film's television release has been stalled. The Delhi High Court has issued a ruling restraining the TV release of the film for allegedly using objectionable dialogues in context of the brand 'Rooh Afza'.

This ruling comes post the manufacturer of the said brand filed a law suit, claiming that that the dialogue tarnished the brand's image, which is a household name In India as well as outside.

In the order issued by the court, Justice Manmohan Singh said that the curb was not applicable to the theatrical version of the film. He also issued notices to the director, producer and dialogue writers of the film and forwarded the matter for hearing on July 16.
