Applications are invited from eligible land loser candidates (Self / Sons / Spouse / Unmarried daughters / Grandsons / Unmarried Granddaughters direct descendent of landloser only) whose land has been acquired for Konkan Railway project, Employee of Konkan Railway /Contract Employees from J&K Project are also eligible for the following post in Public Relation (Project) Department in Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. (KRCL);

Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 GP Rs.4200/-

Educational Qualification : Minimum 12th pass with Complete Photography course from a Reputed Institute with Distinction or Higher Grading, and sound knowledge of Computer Operations, Power Point Presentations, Auto Cad, Adobe Photo Shop. Candidates appearing at and/or awaiting result are not eligible. Candidates with no work experience are not eligible. Applications not accompanied with certificates of each year for above qualification and work experience will be rejected.

Age : The candidates should be within the age group of 18 years (minimum) and 35 years (maximum) as on 01/07/2013.

Medical Examination : The candidates will have to pass the prescribed medical examination as per railways standards to be conducted at the candidate’s cost by Konkan Railway Corporation’s Medical Authorities. The medically fit candidates will only be considered for recruitment in KRCL. No alternative job will be provided if a candidate -ed for a particular category fails to qualify in the prescribed medical test of that category/post.

Eligibility Criteria :

i) Land losers whose land has been acquired for Konkan Railway line Project (Self / Sons / Spouse / Unmarried daughters / Grandsons/ Unmarried Granddaughters only) are eligible. Only one candidate per family per land acquisition is eligible. If any member of the family is already employed in KRCL, he/she is not eligible for applying against the above post. In case of SC/ST candidates, there is no such limit of number of family members employed per land acquisition.

ii) Employees of KRCL /Contract Employees from J&K Project with requisite qualification are also eligible to apply.

Mode of Selection:

Preference for appointment will be given to landloser candidate and incase no suitablecandidate is available with requisite experience and exposure, preference and weight agecan be given to the KRCL Employees/ Contract Employees from J&K Project.

. Based on the applications received, eligible candidates will be called for written examination. KRCL reserves the right to hold the written examination of only landloser candidates depending upon the response received from landloser candidates. Those who qualify in the written examination will be called for Personal Interview and scrutiny of documents as per merit order. Candidates with all clear records and as per merit will be called for prescribed medical examination. The -ed and medically fit candidates will be provisionally appointed based on the merit position . subject to verification of antecedents.

How to Apply :

i) Application format can be downloaded from the website or can be obtained from any of the KRCL Stations and other KRCL Offices at BELAPUR, RATNAGIRI, MADGAON & KARWAR – free of cost.

ii) Applications completed in all respects along with enclosures and clearly mentioning the above Notification No. and Post applied for should reach this office at Belapur Bhavan,Sec-11, CBD Belapur,Navi Mumbai

General Instructions:

1. The candidates will have to pass the prescribed medical examination as per railways standards to be conducted at the candidate’s cost by Konkan Railway Corporation’s Medical Authorities.

2. The -ed candidates can be posted and transferred anywhere in the area of operation of Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd, including its project sites. However, the employees of Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. are not eligible for transfer to other Zonal Railways.

3. The applications duly filled in should be submitted to Asstt. Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd, Belapur Bhavan, Sec-11, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai-400614 . Applications will not be accepted in any other offices of KRCL and if sent personally or by post to such other offices, will not be considered.

4. Documents to be attached with the application : Candidates should note that Nonsubmission of any of these documents will render the applicant ineligible. Attested photo copies of certificates of all qualifications in relevant trade as mentioned above.

5. Attested photo copy of proof of Date of Birth. Two self attested passport size photographs. Proof of relationship with the landloser issued by Revenue authorities alongwith Affidavit on Rs.100/- stamp paper. Undertaking on Rs.100/- stamp paper as per KRCL format given below (Not required from SC/ST candidates).

6. Applications completed in all respects along with all enclosures as mentioned above should be sent by Registered Post or delivered in person

7. Applications not accompanied by any of the above documents and incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. No further correspondence in this respect shall be entertained.
