Southern Naval Command Kochi has issued a notification against recruitment for filling up the vacant seats of Assistant Store Keeper, Lower Division Clerk, Civilian Motor Driver, Laboratory Technician, Telephone Operator Grade II, Pharmacist, Supervisor Grade III, Electroplater, Cook, Salesman/ Bearer, Printer Compositor and Lascar I Class.
01. Assistant Store Keeper
Total No. of Vacancy: – 02 (UR)
Qualification: – Pass the Matriculation Examination from any recognized Board.
Salary: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Age limit: – Maximum age should not be more than 27 years and not below than 18 years.
02. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
Total No. of Vacancy: – 15 (UR-04, OBC-05, ST-06)
Academic Qualification: – Pass the 10+2 examination from any recognized Board and speed of 35 words per minute in English Typing and 30 words per minute in Hindi Typing.
Salary: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Age Limit: – Not more than 27 years.
03. Civilian Motor Driver
Total No. of Vacancy: – 07 (UR-05, OBC-01, SC-01)
Qualification: – Pass the 10th class examination from any recognized Board and must possess a Driving Licence for Heavy Vehicle and Motor Cycles.
Salary: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Maximum Age: – 25 years.
04. Laboratory Technician
Total No. of Vacancy: – 02 (UR)
Academic Qualification: – Bachelor Degree with Chemistry as one of the Subject and Training in Laboratory work for minimum period of six months.
Salary: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Age Limit: – Applicants maximum age should not be more than 35 years and not below than 18 years.
05. Telephone Operator Grade II
Total No. of Vacancy: – 02 (UR-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: – Pass the Matriculation examination from any recognized Board with English as a Compulsory Subject and proficiency in handling of PBX Board.
Salary: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- per month.
Age Limit: – Not more than 27 years.
06. Pharmacist
Total No. of Vacancy: – 01 (OBC)
Academic Qualification: – 10th pass from any recognized Board and Registered under class C of Section 31 or Section 32 of the Pharmacy Act 1948.
Salary: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- per month.
Age Limit: – not more than 32 years.
07. Supervisor Grade III (Canteen)

Qualification: – 10th Pass and one year Diploma in Book Keeping or Store Keeping Cash Accounting.

Academic Qualification: – Pass the Matriculation examination and should have completed Apprenticeship Training in the Trade.

Age Limit: – Maximum 25 years.
09. Cook

Qualification: – 10th pass with one year experience in the trade.

10. Salesman/ Bearer

11. Printer Compositor

Academic Qualification: – 10th Pass and proficiency certificate in Printing Composition and two years experience in related field.

Maximum Age: – Not more than 32 years.
12. Lascar I Class
Total No. of Vacancy: – 03 (ST)
Educational Qualification: – 10th pass from any recognized Board.
Salary: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- per month.
Applicants Age Limitation: – Applicants maximum age should not be crossed than 37 years.
