The individual provides technical consulting to customers integrating with client software. Activities include consulting with customers to understand and document their business and technical requirements, working with customer business analysts on data mapping between systems, advising customers on usage and capability of the system, and appropriate configuration of the system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Consult with customers regarding feature/functionality of Client software solutions, and configuration options to achieve customer’s business needs.
• Gathers, analyzes, and documents customer’s business requirements in collaboration with customer’s business, technical, and compliance staff.
• Consults with customers to complete data mapping requirements for the integration between systems. This includes consulting regarding usage and purpose of client data requirements, helping the customer identify appropriate data sources from their system based on their business practices.
• Contributes to the analysis, planning, logical design, development, testing and maintenance of customer engagement deliverables based on the customer’s requirements.
• Coordinates, develops and participates in the execution of integration and acceptance test plans during the customer engagements.
Contract Resource Skills and Experience:
1. Knowledge of XML/XPATH/XSLT. Will need to be able to create rules and data transfer mappings using XPATH and XSLT using tools such as XML Spy to create style sheets.
2. Working experience of installing and configuring software
3. Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, trouble-shooting and problem solving skills
4. Demonstrates strong communication (verbal & written), with the ability to effectively communicate with peers, non-technical personnel & customers at their level, and to represent with customers.
5. Strong customer facing and presentation skills
6. Demonstrated active listening skills with customers and coworkers
7. Demonstrated strong customer relationship management and leadership skills
8. Flexibility and ability to work with multiple priorities, collaboratively with team, and independently on assigned tasks.
9. Working knowledge of project management methodology and best practices that can be applied when assigned to multiple engagements
10. Knowledge of SQL preferred
11. Lending institution experience or working with lending institutions preferred.
