Duration: .Net developer

Location: Tallahasse, Florida 

Duration: 1 year with possible extension.

Rate is $45/h max. 

Description: Our Client is looking to hire a .NET Developer in Tallahassee, FL.

Responsibilities:

Work independently in the technical analysis, evaluation and resolution of large Enterprise application production issues or problems, with little or no assistance, and make decisions and recommendations to remediate those issues or problems;

Plan, organize, coordinate, and prioritize work assignments for him/herself or lower level analysts;

Work effectively with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Data Analysts, Technical Architects to build efficient, long term solutions in the development of business applications utilizing all established departmental standards;

Analyze processes and workflows to design efficient information solutions;

Prepare complex computer program specifications;

Prepare computer program test plans and to create test databases and test environments;

Develop and manage information systems documentation in accordance with the Client’s standards;

Receive and give constructive criticism, and maintain effective work relationships with others.

Requirements:

Experience with Visual Studio.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET and ASP.NET, and thoroughly testing, and debugging complex applications using web based and object oriented programming languages;

Experience with principles, practices and techniques of system development and maintenance life cycles;

Experience with Object Oriented Programming principles, design and practices;

Experience with JQuery, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle (preferred);

Experience with MVC 4 (preferred).

Job Description:

The Engineer is responsible for assisting other developers with more challenging Javascript/CSS issues.  

The Developer will attend daily Scrum calls and be able to clearly convey/communicate to others in the team – although the technical skills are paramount.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Heavy experience with AngularJS

Expert in CSS3/HTML5

Highly competent Javascript developer

Must have Agile experience

Strong communication skills to communicate with customers

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS:

Experience with HighCharts.js libraries

Experience with D3.js

An interest in data visualization
