I am working with IBM in Philadelphia and they have a need for a BPM Admin for a four month contract. I have included a job description for you to review. If you have any consultants available and interested, please let me know and provide best rate available.

The customer is on BPM v8.5.5 and are using both the Standard and Advanced sides of the product. They are old time WPS customer so their skills are fairly strong on the WPS/Adv side – so emphasis will be on someone who knows the Std side well – but as you can see by the tasks, the candidate must know both sides of the product.

Here are some of the skills that the customer has asked for. They are creating a more formalized list of tasks but this will give a flavor of the skills expected. Please note the 4 items in bold – these are their most important needs so please make sure that your candidates are minimally capable in these 4 areas

deploy snapshots. Disable, stop, undeploy exisiting snapshots
modify BPM configuration (e.g. edit/understand 99Local.xml)
review BPM Process metrics. performance tuning BPM (lombardi) engine.
modify WAS configuration (change ports, provide users WAS console access, set trace levels, review logs)
troubleshoot server issues, manage PMR process
modify SCA bindings in the WAS console.
performance tune WAS (set optimal values for datasource pools, thread pools, etc)
create new nodes.
make recommendations to Oracle DBA for performance
understand/analyze AWR reports
install and configure Business Monitor
assist with migration of older WPS integrations into the current BPM version
write scripts to perform maintenance on BPM server (deleting completed instances, managing durable subscriptions).
