Prabhudeva’s Rambo Rajkumar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela have swapped their release dates. Both the films will still release in November 2013 but Ram Leela starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone has now moved to 15 November 2013 and Rambo Rajkumar Starring Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha has moved two weeks ahead to 29 November 2013.

Raam leela is  is said to be an adaptation of Shakespeare’s epic love story Romeo and Juliet, set in violent times. The story of the film is set in Gujarat. Whereas Rambo Rajkumar is a typical masala film from Prabhudeva.

Shuffling of release dates may be more beneficial for Shahid and Sonakshi starrer, Rambo Rajkumar as they will have few open weeks leading upto release of Dhoom 3 on X-Mas but this interchange might hamper prospects of Sanjay Leela Bhansali as it will come within 2 weeks of Rakesh Roshan’s much awaited krish 3 which will release on Diwali(3 Nov or 4 Nov) so Ram Leela may not get a desired release if krish 3 is liked by the audience.
